RANGELY | On Saturday the Rangely seventh grade volleyball team hosted the Hayden Tigers. With the game being at home the girls were excited to play on their court in front of fans and family. The team had been working hard all week to prepare for the match against the Tigers. 7A was ready for a rematch against the Tigers. As the first match started you could feel the enthusiasm from the home team. The girls were working together to set up the ball and their communication on the court kept them focused. Lexi LeBleu led the way serving 12 points to give the team a 25-12 win. In the second match the momentum continued with teamwork and a drive to go for the win. Players contributing to the win against the Tigers 25-11 were Emma Winder, Miah Wren, and Angelina Fortunato. The next match for the girls will be Vernal at home on Tuesday and then districts this coming weekend in Soroco.
