8/6/2023 @ 11:38. While a trailer was being unloaded it proceeded to roll down the hill and took out a stop sign at 5th/Hill St. in Meeker
8/6/2023 @ 5:58 pm. Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office assisted Rangely PD with a disturbance in the town limits of Rangely.
8/6/2023 @ 6:12 pm. A sheriff deputy was called out to Kenney Reservoir to assist with a “near sinking” of a boat when a fishing line got caught up in the motor. The accused fisherman did tell the deputy that his kids were fishing and were using bobbers the size of a lemon. The parties involved exchanged information.
8/6/2023 @ 8:54 pm. A juvenile did not want to give up his Xbox so became belligerent with his parents. Meeker PD responded and handled the incident.
8/7/2023 @ 1:03 pm. A “suspicious” container was reported in the area of 6th/Main St. An officer responded and determined the container was odd but not suspicious in nature.
8/8/2023 @ 5:05 pm. A female party was arrested on a warrant out of Rio Blanco County. She was transported to Moffat County Jail.
8/10/2023 @ 7:41 pm. An ATV accident with injuries occured outside the city limits of Rangely.
8/10/2023 @ 11:37 pm. An assault between 2 brothers occured in the eastern part of Rio Blanco County. One brother was transported to the hospital with injuries. No charges were pressed.
8/10/2023 @ 8:20 pm. A burglary was reported when some construction equipment was taken from a building in the town limits of Meeker. No suspect information was provided.
8/11/2023 @ 11:43 am. Two dirtbikes were stolen from a residence in the town limits of Meeker. No suspect information was provided.
8/11/2023 @ 12:26 pm. Another assault occured on the east side of the County. Minor injuries were reported however the injured party did not want an ambulance. No charges were pressed.
8/12/2023 @ 11:51 am. A camper was hit by another vehicle occupied by several juveniles near the South Fork Campground. There were no injuries. The vehicle that hit the camper was not driveable.
