ARRESTS
- 26 Yr old male was transported from Garfield County on 01-19-22 to Moffat County on a Rio Blanco failure to appear warrant. Male was granted a PR bond on 10-24-22 by Judge Fennessy.

CALL SUMMARIES
10/17/2022 @ 9:23 am. A reporting party called in stating they observed a vehicle that had driven off from a gas station with the gas hose still attached to their vehicle. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle or determine who the owner was.
10/17/2022 @ 6:08 pm. A physical assault occurred between two juveniles at a park located in Meeker. One person was injured and transported by ambulance.
10/17/2022 @ 11:01 pm. A verbal altercation between co-workers occurred in the parking lot of a hotel in Meeker. Charges were not pressed and the parties separated for the evening.
10/18/2022 @ 8:24 pm. A possible lost hunter was reported in the area of Forest Service Road 240 and County Road 17. It was reported that the hunter had not returned to camp after leaving before day light. At approximately 8:40 am the next morning the missing hunter had appeared back at camp sometime during the night.
10/19/2022 @ 8:31 am. A citizen in Rangely reported his neighbor making loud noises before sunrise over the last couple of mornings. The accused neighbor advised that they were simply getting ready for winter by loading firewood.
10/19/2022 @ 4:54 pm. A raccoon was found to be up in a tree at the top of 9th St in Meeker. Upon the officer’s arrival, the animal was not harming or threatening anyone. No action was taken.
10/19/2022 @ 10:58 pm. Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office assisted Rangely PD on a traffic stop that resulted in a warrant arrest.
10/21/2022 @ 10:11 am. A traffic complaint was called into Rio Blanco County Communications Center regarding a vehicle that had passed the reporting party on the shoulder near Highway 13 & County Road 15. The vehicle was located by a deputy and the driver was given a warning.
10/22/2022 @ 11:36 am. Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office assisted Rangely PD in locating a possible domestic situation. Rangely PD took over the investigation as the incident occurred in Rangely town limits.
10/23/2022- The first snow storm of the season wreaked havoc on travelers. There was a total of 4 slide-offs reported to Rio Blanco County Communications Center on this day throughout the county. Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office also assisted Colorado State Patrol with a rollover accident on County Road 8A.
