CALL SUMMARIES
4/13/2025 @ 2:27 am. A caller reported suspicious activity on the White River near County Road 65. The caller thought the people who were launching a boat that had tools and were up to no good. Rangely PD responded to check on the situation and the suspicious parties were just out for a very early morning fishing excursion. No tools were found, just fishing gear.
4/14/2025 @ 7:48 am. A burglary was reported from a compressor station on the west side of the county. Suspect information has been obtained and the case is under investigation.
4/14/2025 @ 11:34 am. A vehicle was broken into while parked near a State Wildlife Area. Several items were stolen. The incident is under investigation.
4/16/2025 @ 2:42 am. Two dogs were reported to be running in the night on Highway 13 and one appeared to be hurt. The owner was notified and the injured dog just had blood on it due to eating road kill.
4/17/2025 @ 3:30 pm. Meeker PD escorted a stray pig back to its home.
4/18/2025 @ 10:53. Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office assisted Rangely PD with a male party that was hearing voices in his home. He also told the officer the people ran into the alley and climbed the roof of a nearby building. Turns out the caller was just intoxicated.
