- There were no new arrests for the week of August 1, 2022.
CALL SUMMARIES
- 8/1/2022 @ 05:43 am-an auto theft was reported to Meeker Police Dept., Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office and Meeker Police were able to locate the vehicle a short time later outside of city limits. The male suspect was arrested for vehicle theft and a felony warrant.
- 8/1/2022- Several 911 calls today regarding smoke reports. All reports were on BLM property and were handled by BLM Fire.
- 8/2/2022 @ 6:13 pm- A lightning strike caused a small fire in the area of the 70 mile-marker of Highway 64. Meeker Volunteer Fire Department responded.
- 8/3/2022 @ 11:27 am- a traffic crash involving a car vs deer was reported near the 69 mile-marker Highway 64. The driver received minor injuries.
- 8/3/2022 @ 3:30 pm- a small sagebrush fire near the 4 mile-marker County Road 21. BLM Fire and Rangely Fire Dept. responded.
- 8/4/2022 @ 9:46 pm- Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office assisted Rangely PD on a report of a domestic.
