CALL SUMMARIES
- 8/22/2022 @ 8:06 am. A caller reported smelling a bear near a residence in the town limits of Meeker. Colorado Parks and Wildlife was notified.
- 8/23/2022 @ 9:33 am. A suspicious person was reported in the area of Circle Park. Upon officer’s arrival the person was no longer on scene.
- 8/23/2022 @ 9:04 pm. A report of a helicopter crash was received in the Communications Center in the Piceance Creek area. Several agencies on the ground and from the air assisted in looking for the downed helicopter and it was located in Garfield County.
- 8/24/2022 @ 9:10. A neighbor dispute was reported on Highway 13. It was reported that one neighbor was knocking over trash and spreading it in the ditch.
- 8/26/2022 @ 5:38 pm. A license plate was stolen off of a vehicle on County Road 13.
- 8/26/2022 @ 6:00 pm. A traffic complaint regarding a 4-wheeler on Rodeo Rd driving too fast. A deputy responded to the area and did not observe any traffic violations.
- 8/28/2022 @ 8:02 am. An overdue party was called into the Communications Center. The subject was supposed to show up to camp at Lake Avery and hadn’t arrived. A short time later the subject was located at a different campsite and was OK.
