ARRESTS
- 43 year old male was arrested on 9/2/2022 by Rangely PD on a protection order violation. Subject was given a cash/surety bond.
CALL SUMMARIES
- 8/29/2022 @ 4:34 am. A single vehicle rollover accident occurred at approximately the 33 mile-marker Highway 13. The single occupant was injured and was subsequently transported by a medical helicopter.
- 8/29/2022 @ 10:39 am. A restroom door was reported stolen from the rest area on Highway 139.
- 8/30/2022 @ 3:00 pm. A one vehicle rollover accident with injuries occurred near the 4 mile-marker on Highway 64. Rangely ambulance transported the patient.
- 8/30/2022 @ 17:58 pm. A bear was found scavenging in the trash in the area of the 67 mile-marker of Highway 64. Colorado Parks and Wildlife was notified.
- 8/31/2022 @ 12:22 pm. Smoke report in the area of 6 1/2 mile- marker County Road 7. BLM was notified and was unable to locate any smoke. ColoWyo did do a blast that day which was more than likely the cause of the smoke.
- 9/1/2022 @ 6:41 am. Reporting party found what appeared to be a “drug kit” at the rest area on Highway 13. The items were brought into the Sheriff’s Office.
- 9/2/2022 @ 10:57 am. Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office assisted Rangely PD with an attempt to locate for a male party that had a warrant. The male party was taken into custody by Rangely PD.
- 9/4/2022 @ 6:33 pm. A call reporting a possible DUI driver near the 2 mile-marker on Highway 64. A deputy contacted the driver and everything was okay. The driver was warned about their driving.
- 9/4/2022 @ 6:56 pm. A non-injury accident occurred at the intersection of Highway 13 & Highway 64.
- 9/4/2022 @ 11:30 pm. A report of a possible lost hunter that had not returned to camp was reported to the Communications Center. Approximately 2 hours later the caller advised that the hunter had made it back to camp and was okay.
