ARRESTS
12/23/2025- Rangely PD arrested a 29 year-old male for 2nd degree criminal trespass and violation of a protection order. He was taken to jail.
12/26/2025- Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 36 year-old female on multiple warrants out of Mesa County. She was transported to jail.
CALL SUMMARIES
12/21/2025 @ 1:15 pm. Deputies responded after an elderly female reportedly left the Rifle Walmart without her family and continued driving. The driver was initially unwilling to stop for deputies on Highway 13 but eventually contact was made and the family was successfully reunited.
12/2/2025 @ 3:18 pm. A 911 hang-up came into the Communications Center, The caller reported their phone accidentally activated while horseback riding. All parties were safe, and there was no emergency-horse included.
12/22/2025 @ 2:34 pm. Officers responded to a report that dogs locked their owners out of a vehicle. Entry was gained when the owners found a spare key.
12/26/2025 @ 9:11 pm. A routine traffic stop on Highway 13 resulted in a female passenger getting arrested for multiple warrants out of Mesa County. The driver was given a warning for speed.
12/27/2025 @ 12:39 am. A Ring camera caught ashes and smoke coming out of a neighbors chimney in the town limits of Meeker. Law enforcement responded and checked on the homeowner. They advised they were OK.
