CALL SUMMARIES

12/30/2024 @11:54 am. Deputies responded to a car fire at the 39 mile-marker on Highway 64. The vehicle was fully engulfed in flames when deputies arrived. There was nobody in or around the vehicle. Rangley Volunteer Fire Dept. responded to put the fire out.  

12/30/2024 @ 3:01 pm. Deputies made contact with a party that was reportedly staying in a tent just outside the town of Meeker on private property. The male party was OK.  

12/31/2024 @ 3:38 pm. A warrant was issued for a male party that is wanted in a domestic violence that occured in the eastern side of Rio Blanco County. 

1/1/2025 @ 9:40 am. The stop sign at the intersection of County Road 39 & County Road 15 was reported stolen. A deputy took a report and advised the Road and Bridge Department. 

1/4/2025 @ 3:57 am. A one vehicle non-injury accident was reported on County Road 4. Colorado State Patrol is investigating the accident. 

1/4/2025 @ 8:13 pm. Meeker Volunteer Fire Dept. responded to an address in the town limits of Meeker for a report of a gas leak. The residents were evacuated. Atmos energy also responded.
