CALL SUMMARIES

12/1/2024 @ 10:22 pm. A car vs elk occurred at approximately the 46 mile-marker on Highway 139. The vehicle was drivable however the elk was deceased. Besides the elk, no injuries were reported.

12/2/2024 @ 9:12 am. Two juveniles were issued summons for Minor in Possession of Tobacco at Meeker High School.

12/2/2024 @ 4:51 pm. A car vs deer near the intersection of Highway 64/County Rd 7. The vehicle was not drivable and the deer was deceased. There were no injuries to the driver. Colorado State Patrol took the accident report.

12/4/2024 @ 7:07 am. An accidental 911 call came into the Communications Center. The caller said that he was listening to his XM radio and a commercial aired “Siri, call 911.”

12/5/2024 @ 8:35 am. A one vehicle rollover accident occurred at the 50 mile-marker on Highway 13. The single occupant was injured and transported to the hospital. Colorado State Patrol is in charge of the accident investigation.

12/6/2024 @ 1:25 pm. A Meeker resident was issued a summons by Meeker PD for Illegal Burning Combustible Matter.

12/6/2024 @ 6:08 pm. Meeker PD arrested a male party on a routine traffic stop for DUI at the 40 mile-marker on Highway 13. The driver was taken into custody, issued a summons and released to a sober party.
