ARRESTS
There was one arrest for the week of December 18th, 2022. Male party was arrested by Meeker PD on a sex assault warrant. The subject was transported to Moffat County Jail and was given a $50,000 cash/surety bond by Judge Boyd.
CALL SUMMARIES
12/18/2022 @ 1:17 pm. A buck that was reported to be missing both eyes was reported in the town limits of Meeker. An officer was sent to check the area and was unable to locate the animal.
12/19/2022 @ 2:53 pm. Colorado State Patrol requested assistance in locating an injured elk on Highway 64. A Bureau of Land Management officer located the elk and put it down.
12/20/2022 @ 3:04 pm. A black Chevy Silverado was reported as passing on a double yellow on Highway 13. An officer was able to locate the vehicle and did not observe any illegal driving behaviors.
12/21/2022 @ 5:30 am. A report was made to Rio Blanco Communications Center regarding a white Dodge pickup that was going about 90 mph and went off the road near the Garfield County line on Highway 13. Meeker Volunteer Fire Dept. and deputies were unable to locate a vehicle that had went off the road. Later the reporting party called back and stated the truck was not going 90 mph but about 4 mph and they were concerned about the state of the driver.
12/23/2022 @ 9:29 am. A male party was arrested by Meeker PD on a warrant for sex assault.
12/24/2022 @ 12:18 am. A male party driving a truck on Water St. in the town of Meeker took out several stop signs at 7th, 8th and 9th Streets. The driver was located by Meeker PD and charged.
