44-year-old male arrested 12/09/22 for careless driving, disorderly conduct, domestic violence and harassment/stalking he bonded out on 12/09/22. The same male was re-arrested on a warrant on 12/11/2022.
54-year-old male arrested 12/09/22 for domestic violence/assault and false imprisonment he was released 12/11/22 on a PR bond by Judge Scheider
39-year-old male arrested 12/10/22 for violation of a protection order.
CALL SUMMARIES
12/04/2022 @7:13 am. A gun was reported stolen from a vehicle on the eastern side of Rio Blanco County.
12/06/2022 @ 5:40 pm. A driver reported there were several injured elk in the middle of the road that had been hit by a semi. An officer responded and a deer was dispatched and moved off the road.
12/7/2022 @ 8:51 am. Someone brought in a suspicious package into the Sheriff’s office containing a white powdery substance that was delivered to their residence. Upon further investigation, the suspicious substance turned out to be women’s socks.
12/8/2022 @ 6:32 pm. A male party was arrested for domestic violence in eastern Rio Blanco County. The subject was transported to Moffat County Jail
12/09/2022 @ 04:09 am. The owner of a gas station called Rio Blanco County Communications concerned that there was a fire coming from one of the fuel pumps. Upon Meeker Volunteer Fire Dept. arrival, it was determined that it was the exhaust from a couple semi-trucks that were parked at the gas station.
12/09/2022 @ 6:35 am. Meeker Police Dept. arrested a male party for careless driving, disorderly conduct, domestic violence as well as harassment/stalking.
12/10/2022 @ 05:37 pm. A driver called in stating he hit a couple cows on a county road. He was very irate, not understanding why there would be cows on the road. A deputy educated the driver on ranch life in Rio Blanco County.
