ARRESTS
2/6/2026-Rangely PD arrested a 25 year-old female for Driving Under Revocation. She was transported to jail and released on bond.
2/9/2026-Meeker PD arrested a female for 4 warrants. She was transported to jail where she remains in custody.
CALL SUMMARIES
2/4/2026 @ 9:42 am. Approximately 20 goats got out of their pasture, proving once again that “contained” is more of a suggestion than a rule.
2/6/2026 @ 9:55 am. Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office assisted Rangely PD with a combative female who was taken into custody for driving under revocation.
2/7/2026 @ 4:24 pm. An accidental 911 call came into the Communications Center after a caller told her mom about a dream in which she said, “Siri, call 911.” Unfortunately for everyone involved, Siri was apparently awake, alert, and very committed to public safety.
2/7/2026 @ 6:18 pm. An assault was reported after an altercation spilled into the town limits of Rangely, where the dispute officially escalated when one male’s foot was ran over. Both subjects were charged with disorderly conduct.
