ARRESTS
There were two arrests this week. A male party was arrested on 2/28/2023 for several warrants. He received 1 year of probation and 9 days jail credit for time served plus fees. Several of his charges were dismissed by Judge Edwards.
A male party was also arrested on 3/4/2023 for driving under the influence. He was summoned and released to a responsible party.
CALL SUMMARIES
2/26/2023 @ 1:13 am. Several rocks were reported in the roadway by the deputy that was working in the area between the 8 and 9 mile-marker on County Road 5.
2/26/2023 @ 3:40 am. A disturbance occurred in the town limits of Meeker between a male and female. Nobody was taken into custody.
2/26/2023 @ 1:09 pm. A knife was found outside of a residence on the eastern side of Rio Blanco County. An owner has not been identified.
2/28/2023 @ 12:27 am. A male party was arrested on multiple warrants in the town limits of Meeker. The subject was taken to Moffat County Jail.
3/1/2023 @ 5:53 am. A one vehicle rollover accident occurred at about the 4 mile-marker on County Road 8. The single occupant was not injured. Colorado State Patrol responded to take the crash report.
3/2/2023 @ 2:54 pm. An accidental 911 call came into the Rio Blanco County Communications Center in the town limits of Meeker. The caller was okay and said that they were messing around with their Apple watch.
3/3/2023 @ 3:40 pm. Several large rocks were reported near the 60 mile-marker on Highway 139. While a deputy was moving some of the smaller rocks, there were still rocks sliding off the mountain. Large machinery was needed to come move the large rocks and CDOT was requested to survey the mountain.
3/4/2023 @ 4:33 pm. A male driver was arrested for DUI near the 17 mile-marker on Highway 64. The driver was given a summons and released to a relative.
