ARRESTS
1/28/2026- A 50 year-old male was arrested by Meeker PD on multiple active warrants. He was transported to jail where he remains in custody.
1/31/2026- A 30 year-old male was arrested by Bureau of Land Management officer for an outstanding Moffat County warrant. He was transported to jail.
CALL SUMMARIES
1/25/2026 @ 4:30 pm. A car vs cow accident with injuries and fluids leaking ended with no cow involved, no injuries and no leaks. However, the vehicle did roll at the 32 mile-marker on Highway 64 due to road conditions. CSP is investigating the accident.
1/26/2026 @ 2:24 pm. A Uhaul truck pulling a car trailer ended up on its side near the 46 mile-marker on Highway 13. The driver was uninjured and his toddler passenger was transported to the hospital. CSP is investigating the accident.
1/27/2026 @ 12:51 pm. An eagle failed to yield when it came into contact with a vehicle on the west side of Highway 64. Colorado Parks and Wildlife was notified.
1/28/2026 @ 10:25 am. Authorities responded to a report of suspicious activity, regarding a male on the ice at Kenney Reservoir. Turns out, ice fishing is still a thing.
1/29/2026 @ 7:06 pm. A local man was called in as suspicious for walking down County Road 4 with a sword. No crime was committed, the man just needed a walk and some fresh air.
