CALL SUMMARIES

1/07/2025 @ 04:19 pm. A call came in reporting yelling taking place in a vehicle that drove past the nosy passerby. An officer responded but couldn’t locate the vehicle.

01/07/2025 @ 04:38 am. The Sheriff responded to a call where the reporting party was seeing unfriendly characters who were trying to break into an RV. The Sheriff cleared the property and only found a blow up doll that gave him quite a startle.

01/08/2025 @ 4:17pm. A female party called in stating that her ex-boyfriend was following her on Highway 13 and was going into oncoming traffic. A deputy met with the her and escorted her to the county line. The ex-boyfriend could not be located.

01/09/2025 @ 08:14 am. A semi-truck ended up getting stuck and blocking County Road 13. The sign by the 10th street bridge that tells the truck drivers not to take that route to the solar farm was not working due to it being so cloudy. The sign works on solar and it hadn’t charged the batteries.

1/09/2025 @ 07:24 pm. UPS dropped off a package on a doorstep and the reporting party saw a neighbor ripping open their package. As soon as the party opened their door, the porch pirate took off running without the package but pictures were taken of the thief. The deputies showed up and took a report but the owner did not want to press charges.

1/10/2025 @ 11:36 pm. Once a driver was pulled over for speeding, that vehicle started rolling back into an officer’s patrol car. The airhorn was activated to no avail. The driver was cited for a DUI and transported to jail.
