ARRESTS
A 45 year-old male was arrested on 1/18/24 for violation of protection order and transported to Jail.
CALL SUMMARIES
1/14/2024 @ 1:27 am. A disruptive neighbor was called in on 11th St. in Meeker. The neighbor was intentionally setting off his car alarm, throwing items at the reporting party’s residence and honking their horn. Once an officer arrived to contact the suspect the car alarm stopped.
1/14/2024 @ 4:47 pm. Upon further investigation after a traffic stop in town limits of Meeker, a deputy conducted roadsides on the driver and it appeared the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and released on a summons.
1/15/2024 @ 10:15 am. A scared driver traveling on Highway 13 just north of the town limits of Meeker called 911 requesting assistance as she believed she may be off the road and was scared to drive any further. A deputy responded to assist her and she followed him to town.
1/16/2024 @ 6:25 pm. Passing motorists were concerned for a male party’s safety that was walking on Highway 13 at approximately the 47 mile-marker. A deputy located the cold hitch hiker and gave him a courtesy ride due to the weather conditions.
1/16/2024 @ 10:27 pm. A non-injury accident involving a vehicle and what was reported as a cow “moose” was reported at the 55 mile-marker on Highway 139. Once a deputy arrived, the deceased animal was determined to be a moo cow.
1/18/2024 @ 12:34 pm. A backcountry rescue was initiated for an injured “snowbiker” approximately 7 miles from Yellow Jacket Park. The patient was flown from the scene by helicopter to the hospital .
1/18/2024 @ 6:26 pm. A male was arrested on Agency Dr for violating a protection order and transported to the jail.
