ARRESTS
A 35 year-old male was arrested by Meeker PD for out of county Warrants. He remains in custody.
CALL SUMMARIES
7/21/2024 @ 10:08 pm. Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office assisted with a fire near Prospect/River St. in the town limits of Rangely. The fire was contained at 10:38 pm.
7/21/2024 @ 11:02 pm. A single vehicle DUI Crash occurred at the 6-mile marker on County Rd 8. No injuries were reported. Colorado State Patrol took the report.
7/22/2024 @ 1:41 am. A bear was reported as being in a residence on County Road 8. The suspect broke a window to gain access to the residence. A deputy and Colorado Parks and Wildlife Officer responded and were unable to locate the culprit.
7/23/2024 @ 6:53 am. A single vehicle rollover crash occurred at the 24-mile marker on Highway 64. No injuries were reported, however the single occupant left the scene to go back to their residence.
7/24/2024 @ 12:45 am. A homeowner on County Road 15 woke to someone banging on their door and window as well as throwing eggs at the house. Three male subjects were located a short time later sitting in their vehicle on the same road. They denied any involvement in the criminal activity. The case is under investigation.
7/25/2024 @ 12:13 pm. A large debris fire was reported at a recycling facility outside of Meeker. Meeker Volunteer Fire Dept. responded and had the fire out at 2:17 pm.
7/25/2024 @ 7:04 pm. A male party that came unto a 2nd story porch uninvited on Water St. was contacted in the area and after further investigation had several warrants. He was arrested by Meeker PD and taken to jail. He said he was on the porch because one of his friends used to live in the apartment.
7/27/2024 @ 11:20 pm. An assault occurred at a local restaurant in the town of Meeker. One party was injured and taken to the hospital. The injured party also received a citation for Disorderly Conduct.
