7/7/2026 @ 8:25pm. A call for service was received by dispatch reporting that a husband and wife had not returned from a Razor ride with friends. Following coordination and planning, I am pleased to report that the couple has arrived back safely with their group..
7/8/2026 @ 12:54 pm. A traffic complaint was received regarding a vehicle heading towards Meeker that was swerving across the road. The vehicle has since been stopped and handled in the proper manner.
7/8/2026 @ 2:19 pm. If lightning is going to strike, the safest location would be an irrigated hayfield with rain in the forecast. This is exactly what was reported on County Road 8 near the K Bar T. Thanks to a small amount of rain and a rancher on hand, the fire had dwindled to just a bit of smoke before fire and rescue arrived on scene.
7/9/2026 @12:58 pm. Report of a child headed down the river from the Circle Park area in a blue kiddy pool came in to dispatch from PD that was thankfully already on the scene dealing with unrelated matters. The child was retreived from the water near 10th Street Bridge and reunited with mom.
7/10/2026 @ 5:56 pm. RBCS responded to a BOLO regarding a missing male who had been seen walking on Highway 13. Despite the department’s diligent efforts to locate the missing individual, the search was unsuccessful.
