ARRESTS

6/17 62 yr old female arrested for violation of a Protection Order and is still in custody.

6/20 25 yr old male arrested for disorderly conduct, prohibited use of a weapon and menacing. He bonded on 6/20.

6/20 24 yr old male arrested for resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and an assault of a peace officer. He bonded on 6/21.

6/20 23 yr old male arrested for prohibited use of a weapon. He bonded 6/20.

6/22 38 yr old male arrested on a Mesa County warrant.

6/22 40 yr old male arrested for domestic violence, menacing and criminal mischief. He is still in custody.

CALL SUMMARIES

6/17/2024 @ 09:31 am. A deputy responded to a crash in the parking lot at the intersection of Hwy 13 & 64. It was reported that a vehicle was spinning donuts in that parking lot creating a cloud of dust. One vehicle rear ended another due to zero visibility. The suspect was contacted down the road and cited for careless driving.

6/19/2024 @ 01:22 am. It was reported that a car had been vandalized. A female party had followed the driver home and threw eggs at the car. The reporting party had been drinking and regretted making the call.

6/19/2024 @04:35 pm. A semi-truck driver reported losing his steering components and ended up driving up the side of a rock wall on County Road 5 near mile marker 13. Thankfully the truck kept from rolling or causing injury to the driver.

6/20/2024 @07:46 am. Two sheds at 101 Ute Park were reported to have broken windows. Large rocks were found inside. There are no suspects at this time.

6/22/2024 @ 01:29 pm. At mile marker 65 on highway 64, a driver reported that rocks and mud were flooding across the roadway. CDOT closed the highway for a couple hours until the debris was cleaned up.
