ARRESTS
3/17/2025- A 41 year old male was arrested by Rangely PD for Harassment (Domestic Violence). He was taken to jail.
3/18/2025- A 60 year-old male was arrested by Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office for Driving Under the Influence, Careless Driving, Open Marijuana Container in a Motor Vehicle and Unlawful Possession. He was issued a summons and released to a sober driver.
CALL SUMMARIES
3/17/2025 @ 7:11 pm. Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office assisted Rangely PD with taking a male party into custody at an address in the town limits of Rangely after reports of a domestic.
3/17/2025 @ About an hour after the prior domestic, the Sheriff’s Office assisted Rangely PD with a female party that had trespassed into the apartment.
3/18/2025 @ 7:41 pm. A van that slid off near the 20 mile-marker on Highway 13 was occupied by a driver that appeared to be intoxicated. The male party was taken into custody, issued a summons and released.
3/19/2025 @ 8:58 am. A one vehicle rollover occurred near the 66 mile-marker on Highway 64. The single occupant was injured and taken to the hospital. Colorado State Patrol is investigating the crash.
3/20/2025 @ 4:04 am. The Communications Center received a report of a house on fire on Highway 13. The resident called in as well and advised it was their barn on fire. Meeker Volunteer Fire Dept. responded and had the fire out at 5:01 am. No injuries were reported.
3/21/2025 @ 10:31 am. A traffic complaint was called in for a truck that was unable to maintain its lane and speeding. Meeker PD spotted the vehicle and followed it. The officer did not observe any of these illegal driving actions.
