CALL SUMMARIES
3/10/2024 @ 9:41 am. A hit and run accident was reported to Meeker PD that occurred in the parking lot of Pioneers Medical Center. The reporting party thought the accident had occured 2 weeks prior after he noticed damage on his vehicle.
3/11/2024 @ 3:11 pm. A traffic complaint was called into the Communications Center regarding a semi that was all over the road on Highway 64 near the 32 mile-marker. A deputy located the semi and followed it for some time and observed no traffic violations.
3/11/2024 @ 6:43 pm. After a short foot pursuit, Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office assisted Rangely PD with the arrest of a male party.
3/11/2024 @ 9:21 pm. Meeker PD contacted 3 juveniles at City Park that were lighting things on fire for fun. They were advised that was a bad idea.
3/12/2024 @ 11:42 am. While checking in with his probation officer a male party was arrested on an active warrant.
3/12/2024 @ 8:23 pm. An iPhone crash detection came into the Communications Center that was at the 53.4 mile-marker on Highway 13 according to the GPS Coordinates given. The Sheriff’s Office, Meeker PD and Meeker Volunteer Fire/Rescue responded and checked the area and were unable to locate any crashes.
3/13/2024 The local Girl Scout Troop donated several boxes of Girl Scout Cookies to First Responders.
3/16/2024 @ 7:22 pm. Meeker Volunteer Fire/Rescue was dispatched to an address after someone had eaten a hot dog that was bad.
3/16/2024 @ 8:38 pm. The Sheriff’s Office assisted Rangely PD after a suspect fled the scene of a bar after a fight. Officers were unable to locate the suspect.
