ARRESTS
3/15/2026-Meeker PD arrested an 18 year-old female for 1st Degree Criminal Trespass, 2nd Degree Burglary and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was taken to jail.
3/20/2026-Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 36 year-old female for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs or Both. She was issued a summons and released to a sober party.
3/21/2026- Meeker PD arrested a 25 year-old female for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs or Both. She was issued a summons and released to a sober party.
CALL SUMMARIES
3/15/2026 @ 9:54 am. A one vehicle rollover occurred at the 55 mile-marker on Highway 13. No injuries were reported.
3/15/2026 @ 4:37 pm. Homeowners in the town limits of Meeker returned to their residence to find a female individual, who had previously been trespassed from the property, using their restroom. Although the individual left the residence on foot before an officer arrived, she was subsequently located and taken into custody. She has been charged with trespassing, burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia.
3/16/2026 @ 8:56 pm. A young adventurer caused a brief moment of panic for mom after embarking on an unscheduled “playdate mission.” Meeker PD assisted with a thorough search and the little explorer was located safe and sound at a friend’s house.
3/20/2026 @ 11:31 pm. Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office performed a routine traffic stop which turned into a DUI arrest.
3/21/2026 @ 1:13 am. Meeker PD performed a routine traffic stop which turned into a DUI arrest.
3/21/2026 @ 11:46 am. A controlled burn became out of control near Miller Creek/County Road 8 due to the wind picking up. Meeker Volunteer Fire Dept. was able to get the burn under control and cleared the scene at 2:29 pm.
