CALL SUMMARIES
3/5/2023 @ 12:29 pm. A male party was issued a summons in the town limits of Meeker for criminal trespass after he was accused of kicking a neighbor’s door and hitting the neighbor’s vehicle.
3/8/2023 @ 5:55 pm. A “monster” size pothole was reported near the 62 mile-marker on Highway 64. CDOT was notified.
3/9/2023 @ 4:11 pm. A 911 hang-up came into the Rio Blanco County Communications Center from the area of Meeker High School. An officer responded and checked the area. Everything appeared to be okay.
3/9/2023 @ 8:09 pm. A large rock was reported to be at the 22 mile-marker on County Road 8. A deputy responded and was able to move the rock out of roadway.
3/9/2023 @ 8:27 pm. A shed caught on fire in the 1000 block of Park Ave. Meeker Volunteer Fire Dept. was able to get the fire out. No injuries were reported.
3/10/2023 @ 5:46 pm. A one vehicle crash occurred at the 41 mile-marker on Highway 64. No injuries were reported. The deer that the vehicle hit was not as lucky.
3/10/2023 @ 5:04 am. A “wheel barrel” sized boulder was reported at approximately the 7 mile-marker on County Road 8. Road and Bridge was notified and were able to get the rock off of the road.
3/11/2023 @ 9:34 am. At the 25 mile-marker on Highway 64 a vehicle became disabled when their vehicle hit several rocks that were in the Highway. A deputy responded and moved the rocks that could be moved by hand.
