CALL SUMMARIES
5/27/2024 @ 9:35 am. A fight amongst juveniles was reported in the area of 6th & Garfield. Two juveniles were fighting and a third juvenile was using his cell phone for lighting.
5/29/2024 @ 6:49 pm. A road rage situation started at the 36 mile-marker on Highway 13. Both drivers were contacted by a Sheriff Deputy and both drivers were issued citations for Careless Driving.
5/30/2024 @ 1:49 pm. Old cottonwood trees caught fire as a result of a control burn. Meeker Volunteer Fire Dept. responded to assist with extinguishing the fire.
5/30/2024 @ 2:17 pm. While on the cottonwood tree fire the fire dept. received a call to a solar farm on County Road 83 & County Road 24 for a grass fire. The fire burned under the solar panels approximately 5-7 acres. There was no damage to the solar panels or wiring.
5/30/2024 @ 4:44 pm. An ATV accident on County Road 46 resulted in injuries and one person going to the hospital.
5/31/2024 @ 12:56 pm. Another road rage incident was reported near the 26 mile-marker on Highway 13. The reporting party called 911, however she did not want any action taken but rather wanted advice on how to handle the situation. Both drivers were contacted by Sheriff deputies.
5/31/2024 @ 11:22 pm. A routine traffic stop resulted in a DUI arrest on 6th St. in the town limits of Meeker. The driver was released to a sober party.
