CALL SUMMARIES
11/14/2022 @ 12:46 pm. A reporting party called in to talk with a wildlife officer about a deceased deer
that was found in the dumpster.
11/14/2022 @ 09:55 pm A hunter was reported lost. His family was in contact with him but wasn’t able to locate him. After wandering throughout the night, the sheriff came in contact with him the next morning about 07:42 am with a warm cup of coffee which was welcomed by the cold and thankful hunter.
11/15/2022 @ 9:41 pm. An officer responded to a residence where he observed an extension cord running from the reporting party’s front porch to the rear of the adjacent property’s patio going under a tarp. The end point of the cord was unknown beyond the tarp.
11/16/2022 A convicted ax murderer is requesting an appeal to his case. Judge Lynch granted an in-person hearing to review his case. After deputies drove two days and 1,200 in adverse driving conditions to pick-up and return the inmate, the case lasted a total of three minutes. The defendant now has an opportunity to seek other counsel.
11/17/2022 @ 9:07am A hunter brought in a small child’s jacket which they had found near a county road. The jacket looked like it had been clawed. It was found under the snow indicating that it might have been there for a while. There are currently no reports of any missing children.
11/18/2022 @1:03pm Vehicle fails to see Fed-Ex truck in driveway and backs into it. There were no injuries, but the vehicle sustained some damage.
