ARRESTS
11/19/2025- A 40 year-old male was arrested by Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant. He was taken to jail and released shortly after on a PR bond.
11/19/2025- A 29 year-old female was arrested by Meeker PD for driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. She was issued a summons and released to a sober party.
CALL SUMMARIES
11/16/2025- @10:59 AM 911 Pot Shop- Dispatch received a call from someone very concerned trying to find a pot shop in Steamboat. Dispatch gave the caller a non-emergency number, yet for the caller to find his next high was a top priority.
11/18/2025- @6:42 AM Crash on Highway 64- Officers responded to a crash on Highway 64, A white Toyota Camry drove off into a creek in need of assistance. The driver was not injured and deputies waited until Colorado State Patrol arrived to take over.
11/19/2025- @09:22 PM Crash on Sanderson Dr.- Officers responded to a call about a hit and run accident on Sanderson Dr. The vehicle was parked with no one in it and the owner was not in town. Officers were unable to find a vehicle with any damage that would lead them to a suspect.
11/19/2025- @10:20 PM Meeker PD observed a driver failing to stop at a posted stop sign only to come to a complete halt at the next intersection, where no stop sign existed. This resulted in a traffic stop and an arrest for a DUI.
