A 32 year-old male was arrested on 11/23/2023 for domestic violence, harassment and criminal mischief.
A 47 year-old male was arrested on 11/26/2023 for violation of protection order.

There were a total of 6 car vs deer accidents this week in Rio Blanco County.
11/19/2023 @ 11:57 am. Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office assisted a BLM officer with a contact on County Road 69. Two occupants of a vehicle were found to have a large amount of drugs. An investigation was initiated.
11/21/2023 @ 2:24 pm. A barn on fire was reported to the Communications Center on County Road 66. Upon the fire department’s arrival it was determined there was no fire but rather a truck that was running in a garage.
11/22/2023 @ 3:25 pm. A 27 year-old that came to hike in the area of County Road 15/County Road 48 called 911 stating he was too tired to get to get back to his vehicle. The hiker was going to ask some hunters that were nearby for a ride back to his vehicle.
11/23/2023 @ 11:23 am. Thanksgiving Day started out with a domestic violence incident taking place in the town limits of Meeker on 10th street. A male party was arrested and taken to Moffat County Jail.
11/24/2023 @ 9:35 am. A horse decided to see what the Sheriff’s Office was all about as it was found at the front door of the Sheriff’s Office in Meeker. A message was left with the possible owner.
11/25/2023 @ 10:44 am. A one vehicle rollover occurred at the 51 mile-marker on Highway 64. The single occupant was not injured.
