CALL SUMMARIES
11/3/2025 @ 1:47 pm. A small brush fire was reported near the 28 mile-marker on County Road 5. Meeker Volunteer Fire Dept. responded only to find it was a controlled burn that had not been called in.
11/4/2025 @ 12:47 pm. Meeker PD responded to a report of a vehicle that had rolled into a house, causing damage to a railing. No injuries were reported, but the building and the railing are now a little closer than intended.
11/7/2025 @ 11:06 am. What came into the dispatch center as a 6 vehicle accident near Highway 13 & Highway 64 was quickly scaled down to a 3 vehicle accident and really only ended up being 1 vehicle with minor damage. CSP is handling the accident investigation.
11/7/2025 @ 1:54 pm. A deputy contacted a truck driver slumped over the wheel on the side of Highway 64. The driver wasn’t in any distress- just taking an unscheduled roadside nap.
11//2025 @ 3:26 pm. A deputy stood by while a dump truck responded to assist a fellow dump truck that had become stuck in a residential driveway. The good Samaritan truck successfully freed its counterpart, proving once again that teamwork makes the load lighter.
11/8/2025 @ 1:09 am. The Dispatch Center received a 9-1-1 open line. There was no emergency just a male party having a conversation with his Alexa.
There were 9 reported car vs deer accidents in Rio Blanco County last week.
