ARRESTS

11/27/2024- A 42 year-old female was arrested by Rangely PD for 3rd Degree Assault, Domestic Violence. She was released 11/29/2024 on a PR Bond.

11/27/2024- A 28 year-old male was taken to jail on a warrant for Contempt of Court. He remains in custody.

CALL SUMMARIES

11/26/2024 @ 1:26 am. A resident of Meeker called stating that people were messing with cars making the alarms go off. Meeker PD was unable to locate anybody in the area.

11/27/2024 @ 8:11 pm. Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office assisted Rangely PD with a domestic violence call that was occurring in town limits. Initially, law enforcement was looking for the male party who left the scene. Ultimately, the female party was the one arrested for 3rd Degree Assault and Domestic Violence. She was taken to jail.

11/28/2024 @ 10:51am. A horse was found with a saddle and no rider. Upon the deputies’ arrival the sheep herder was back with the horse.

11/28/2024 @ 5:57 pm. A traffic complaint on Highway 13 regarding a vehicle that was weaving resulted in a traffic stop in Meeker Town Limits. The driver was given a warning for weaving.

11/30/2024 @ 2:03 pm. The Communications Center received a call regarding a loose dog was enjoying some leftover pizza that was left in a trash can. An officer responded and was unable to find the dog.
