CALL SUMMARIES
10/15/2023 @ 10:54 am. A concerned wife hadn’t hear from her husband and son that were hunting in Eastern Rio Blanco County as they had not answered their phone for 48 hours. Later in the day the wife received a text they were fine. A Colorado Parks and Wildlife officer also located their camp and also confirmed they were okay.
10/16/2023 @ 7:12 pm. Car vs deer accident occured in the town limits of Meeker at the 44 mile-marker on Highway 13. No injuries were reported.
10/17/2023 @ 7:54 am. One vehicle rollover accident occured at the 8 mile-marker on Highway 64. The single occupant of the vehicle had minor injuries.
10/18/2023 @ 6:34 pm. A smoke report came into the Communcations Center regarding a haze on Highway 64 near the 73 mile-marker. A deputy responded to check the area and determined it was the delicious smell of barbecue and there was no fire.
10/19/2023 @ 7:31 am. Injury accident occured at the 11 mile-marker Highway 64 when 2 vehicles collided. One person was transported to the hospital.
10/19/2023 @ 8:44 am. A husband and wife were arrested in the town limits of Meeker. Both of them had warrants and were transported to Moffat County Jail.
10/19/2023 @ 11:36 am. Power tools were taken from a residence on Highway 64. Possible suspect information was provided to the responding deputy.
10/20/2023 @ 1:39 pm. A traffic complaint was called in regarding a truck passing vehicles on a double yellow and speeding near the 26 mile-marker on Highway 13. A Trooper with Colorado State Patrol stopped the vehicle.
