ARRESTS

10/13/2024- A 59 year old male was arrested by Meeker PD for an out of county warrant. He was transported to jail.

CALL SUMMARIES

10/6/2024 @ 12:20 am. Officers conducted a search of a residence in Meeker after it appeared someone had went into the house and “messed” with things. Nothing was taken and there is no suspect information.

10/6/2024 @ 10:04 am. An ambulance was called for someone that had hit the back of a vehicle with their bicycle on Water St. Minor injuries were reported and the bicyclist was transported to the hospital.

10/6/2024 @ 8:59 pm. Deputies were called out to an address on the east side of the county regarding a juvenile who was refusing to come back into the house after her cell phone was taken away by her parents. Either the cold of the night or the verbal judo used by the deputy convinced the teen to go back inside.

10/7/2024 @ 7:07 pm. A car vs deer accident occurred at the 2 mile-marker on County Rd 4. No injuries were reported and the deer had the left the scene once a deputy arrived.

10/7/2024 @ 9:32 pm. A male party left his truck parked blocking the road on County Rd. 11 due to running out of gas. The driver of the vehicle was contacted walking on Sulphur Creek with a bottle of alcohol. The vehicle was towed at the owner’s expense.

10/8/2024 @ 10:57 pm. Video footage at an address on County Rd 102 showed elevated spinning lights. A deputy met the reporting party to check for anything suspicious in the area and did not find anything.

10/11/2024 @ 9:36 pm. An Apple watch emergency notification came into the Communications Center. Deputies responded to an address on Highway 64 and it was determined that everything was okay.

10/11/2024 @ 11:26 pm. A one vehicle rollover crash occurred at the 1 mile-marker on County Rd 104. The two occupants had minor injuries. Colorado State Patrol is handling the investigation.
