48 year old male transported from Arizona on 10/24/2022 granted PR bond by Judge Fennessy on 10/25/2022
CALL SUMMARIES
10/25/2022 @ 2:29 pm. A reporting party called concerned that a male party was sitting outside of a home in the town limits of Meeker, waiting for a female to come back out. Upon an officer’s arrival the male stated that he was waiting for his girlfriend. When the officer spoke to the girlfriend, she told the officer that she did not want to go back outside and leave with him.
10/25/2022 @ 2:53 pm. A two-vehicle crash with injuries was reported near the 52 mile-marker on Highway 64.
10/26/2022 @ 8:03 pm. Car vs deer accident at the 72 mile-marker on Highway 64. The driver was not injured, the deer was deceased.
10/27/2022 at 4:55 am. A driver called Rio Blanco County Communications Center to advise he was having a hard time driving on Highway 139 due to the snow and asked when the snow plows would be out.
10/27/2022 @ 4:55 pm. Rio Blanco Sheriff’s Office assisted Vernal PD with locating a possible hit and run vehicle on the west side of Rio Blanco County. A vehicle matching the description was located by a deputy. The driver was instructed to call Vernal PD.
10/27/2022 @ 8:28. A juvenile was reported as missing from a residence in the Town of Meeker. Officers looked for the teenager in several places. As it turns out, the juvenile had been sitting on the roof of the home.
10/27/2022 @ 10:26 pm. A disturbance was reported in the town limits of Rangely, Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office responded to assist Rangely PD.
10/28/2022 @ 6:14 pm. A large bonfire in the town limits of Meeker was called into the Communications Center. Upon an officer’s arrival it was determined that Meeker Volunteer Fire Dept. would need to respond to assist in putting the fire out.
10/30/2022 @ 3:11 PM. A hunter called in to advise they had shot a moose instead of an elk in the area of County Road 17. The hunter was transferred to Colorado Parks & Wildlife.
