CALL SUMMARIES

9/21/2025 @ 8:23 pm There was a report of a bear that had been shot up Ripple Creek. Turns out she had 2 cubs, so Colorado Parks and Wildlife were contacted who determined that the cubs were old enough to fend for themselves.

9/22/2025 @ 9:40 am. A caller wanted to know his rights because his neighbor keeps taking apart his motors and snowplow. Apparently, he’s living next to a freelance mechanic with zero boundaries and a PhD in “Not my stuff, but I’ll fix it anyway.”

9/24/2025 @ 5:38 pm. A LPR (license plate reader) pinged one of the deputies on Highway 64 for a stolen vehicle. After a bit of investigation, it turned out the car wasn’t actually stolen. It had been sold, but the new owner forgot one tiny detail…like registering it.

9/25/2025 @ 04:46 pm There was a report of some pigs making a break for it on County Road 75, ending up in the neighbor’s yard. What started as a couple quickly turned into a family reunion. No deputy needed, though; a ranch hand was already on pig wrangling duty to escort the escape artists back home.
