Scoggins, owner of Colorado CPA Services, with offices in Rangely, Meeker and Craig, said he was humbled by the award he received from his peers, recognizing him for his community service.RANGELY | Matt Scoggins of Rangely was presented a “Hero Award” Nov. 5 by the Colorado Society of CPAs for “representing the CPA profession and serving his community in an exemplary fashion.” A school board member, Scoggins also teaches accounting courses at Colorado Northwestern Community College, coaches the Rangely swim club and junior high boys’ basketball, served as chamber president and has been a Boy Scout leader.
