RBC | The Rangely Lady Panthers have been improving their soccer skills with each game. They played two games last week, one against Aspen and the other against Basalt.
Aspen is always tough and while the Panthers were not able to score in this game, junior Klaire Denny and sophomore Skylar Thacker played great defensively and neither came out of the game for the Panthers.
The loss to Basalt was hard fought and goalies KK Fortunato and Kassidee Brown both had busy games saving many shots on goals. Senior Taylor Heil scored the lone goal for the Panthers in this game.
The JV team also had a game against Basalt and Susie Gillard stood out defensively in the 0-3 loss. Even though they came up short this past week the girls played hard and they continue to push to improve. They had a home game Tuesday against Rifle and have a home game on Thursday against Coal Ridge.
