Holmes plans to attend Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington Wyoming, and will study to become a veterinarian technician. In her time here at RJSHS she has been a great leader within her class and the school. She has been active in FBLA, FFA, NHS, has served as a class officer, and is currently serving as one of the Student Council Co-Chairs. She has also been a key person in the yearbook class and has served as co-editor.
Emeliano Rocha plans to attend Western Colorado Community College where he will study culinary arts. Music has been an important part of his high school career. Not only does he take a leadership role in the high school band, he also plays five different instruments. This year, Rocha has also stepped in and is helping Mrs. Morton with the junior high bands and is stepping in as a student aide. He is working with students to help them learn their instruments and deepen their skills in the area of music.
Congratulations to Holmes and Rocha for being selected as the August students of the month.
September: Dillya Wagner, Jordan Fiscus
RANGELY | Students of the month for September are Dillya Wagner and Jordan Fiscus.
Wagner will be attending Utah State University in Logan, Utah, and will study business administration. While attending Rangely High School she has been a member of FFA, is active in NHS, has served as a class officer, and is currently serving RHS as one of the Student Council Co-Chairs. Wagner is always sure to be smiling in all that she does. She brings such a positive attitude to everything she is involved in. Since the start of this year, she has worked very hard to make sure that all STUCO activities have been a great success. Besides STUCO, she has also been a key component to the yearbook class for the last three years. She is serving as the chief editor for the yearbook.
Fiscus has plans to attend the University of Nothern Colorado in Greeley and will be studying to become a secondary history teacher. While attending RJSHS Fiscus has been in FFA, and was a strong member of the gaming club when it was active. He definitely has strengths that will help him to become a great teacher. Fiscus works with Mrs. Allred as a classroom aide for one of her math classes. Working with sixth grade students can be challenging at times and he does it with a smile on his face, a positive attitude, and is always encouraging the students to do their best. Congratulations to Wagner and Fiscus for being selected as the September students of the month for Rangely High School.
