MEEKER | The final swim meet of 2019 found the Moffat County relay team cutting times once again. The team traveled to Montrose on Dec. 20 for the one day Montrose High School meet to compete against seven other teams in a field of 134 girls.

The 200-yard medley relay team, comprised of the same girls, cut a whopping 3.09 seconds to place ninth with a time of 2 minutes 17.65 seconds, inching closer to that state qualifying time.

Individuals finishing in the top 10 were McDiffet in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1 minute 20.65 seconds that secured eighth place. Meekerites Kincher and Kate Lockwood also swam this event, finishing in 1:32.58 and 1:28.77 respectively.
