Rangely’s Christmasfest a complete success
Norm Hall, Sr. and Patty Shue were crowned Christmasfest senior king and queen in the CNCC Colorado Room Saturday afternoon. Alivia Green, Drew Zadra, Kaitlyn Cox and Aaron Klein were this year’s princesses and princes.
How the Grinch stole Christmasfest
More than 50 kids, including Journie Gladstone, enjoyed having their picture taken with the Grinch at Colorado CPA in Rangely last Friday, while carolers outside kicked off the Grinch-themed 2012 Rangely Christmasfest.

RANGELY | The Western Rio Blanco Recreation and Park District will celebrate the 2012 Christmasfest, a Grinch-themed Christmas in Rangely Friday and Saturday.

RANGELY I If this year’s Christmasfest celebrations can survive the Grinch, Rangely residents should have plenty to do the week of Dec. 10. Bertha Tolley, who has helped plan Christmasfest for several years, came up with “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas” theme.

Chosen as Christmasfest royalty this year were king Bill Ormsbee, queen Dena Byers, first attendants Bob Flynn and Dorothy Collins and second attendants Will and Charlotte Novak. Christmasfest’s princess and prince were Mariah Henson and Johnny Deminguez (front).
