HopeWest offers grief support
MEEKER I HopeWest is providing a new weekly grief support group in Meeker and is open to anyone coping with the death of a loved one. Mending Hearts meets every Monday at 5:30 p.m. in Richards Hall on the top floor at 368 Fourth St. in Meeker.

HopeWest scores perfect survey by state
MEEKER I HopeWest recently had an unannounced, onsite survey that takes place every five to seven years for hospice organizations in Colorado. HopeWest, which has a branch in Meeker, received perfect results.

Rio Blanco Stitchers give quilts to HopeWest-Meeker
MEEKER I The tags on the quilts will read, “Quilts Because We Care,” on each of the beautiful, unique and heartfelt gifts from The Rio Blanco Stitchers. The quilting group has donated the first three quilts to HopeWest-Meeker, the Meeker branch of the palliative care center out of Grand Junction.
