Meeker and Rangely 4-H achievement nights…

Carcass contest winner…
Kolbi Franklin, pictured, and Anna Walsh, both of Meeker, did quite well at the Colorado State Fair Beef 4-H Carcass Contest in Pueblo. Franklin placed first with Walsh placing second.

In October, Meeker’s Macy Collins, 14, traveled to the Ak-Sar-Ben livestock show in Omaha, Neb., where she showed three lambs and gave a speech on “Grass Fed vs. Grain Fed Beef.”
