The After Birth Ball was a great success Saturday night in Meeker as the Freeman E. Fairfield Center was filled with people partying and dancing to the country-western sounds of Coy Keithley and the band Straight Shot.

Jolly Demis, a nationally known comedian, songwriter and interactive stand-up performer, provided the entertainment at the “Meekeropoly” themed Meeker Chamber of Commerce annual business meeting. He included several chamber members in his band, as private dancers and in his comedy routine for many laughs.

Meeker Chamber elects new officers
MEEKER I Nine candidates were on the ballot for the Meeker Chamber of Commerce, with five board seats available. According to executive director Katelin Cook, more than 100 ballots were returned.
