MEEKER I On March 26, Dr. David Hildebrandt of the Grand Junction Veteran Center visited Meeker VFW Post No. 584 to evaluate the feasibility of providing ongoing counseling for Meeker veterans. The new VFW is located at 290 Fourth St.

MEEKER I Meeker VFW Post No. 5843, enabled through several generous donations, has purchased the former First Federal Savings and Loan bank building at 290 Fourth St. in Meeker. The building will be the new home of the VFW post and the Meeker Lions Club.
