The fifth and final Bob Tucker Memorial Golf tournament was played last Saturday at the Meeker Golf Course and four of the past scholarship winners returned to Meeker, organized teams and played in the final tournament to raise funds to sustain a scholarship.

The Meeker Police Department would like to remind all citizens to be on the alert for people running scams either on the phone or through the mail. Two types of fraud have been reported recently in our area.

Wrestling camp, barbecue at MHS June 7
A wrestling camp and barbecue for grades K-12 will be Thursday, June 7. The wrestling camp is at Meeker High School.
Hickenlooper visits RBC
Natural Soda held a groundbreaking ceremony for a $30 million expansion, which was attended by several local and state officials, including Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper.
