Former Meeker resident Danny Campbell and his long-time friend Mary Hartwig were at Avis’ on the Corner for a book signing of Campbell’s autobiography, titled “A Wet Ass and a Hungry Gut.” The entertaining book is based on Campbell’s nearly 50 years in the White River Valley.

Letter to the Editor: Cyclists arrive home
Dear Editor: Thanks to all those who helped us along the way. We arrived home in Utah on Sept. 30, after driving from Virginia. We are glad to be home and enjoyed the fall foliage yesterday with, of course, a bike ride!
