Letter: Speaking up can lead to intimidation
Josh Halstead had the ability to state what many people think. Good job, Josh, and like most in this town, I am sure he didn’t speak up at the meeting due to embarrassment, and knowing that he would be attacked for speaking up in a mob mind forum.
Letter: Helping hands don’t need government

Letter: A reader’s wish list for the Democrats

Tough decisions impacting Colorado’s budget, as proposed by Governor Bill Ritter during a meeting before the Joint Budget Committee Aug. 18, modify the timeline and potentially funds available through the Energy and Mineral Impact Assistance Fund (EIAF).
Letter: Opinions OK, if you were at the meeting
To Josh Halstead, the haughty, supercilious, self-aggrandizing position he took in last week’s Herald Times is truly astonishing.
Letter: Anti-Mexican feelings disturb letter writer
I am writing this in response to the town hall article and Mr. Halstead’s comments last week. First, I would like to say to Mr. Halstead, thank you! It is such a relief to hear that I am not the only one who isn’t anti-Mexican/anti-Spanish.
