Scoggins named Rangely RE-4 superintendent

RANGELY I The Rangely Board of Education named Matt Scoggins the next RE-4 district superintendent Friday after a hiring process that lasted more than a month narrowed the field to two candidates, Scoggins and Paul Jebe of La Junta, Colo.

RANGELY I After resigning from his position last week, Rangely School District Superintendent Todd Cordrey said he and his family will return to Brighton, Colo., where he will consider whether to continue in K-12 education or further his real estate business.

Student parents test for GED certificate

RANGELY I A General Educational Development (GED) preparation class launched by the RE-4 school district in Rangely in February resulted in four students testing for their GED certificate in Craig on May 10, with more students planning to test in June.
