RANGELY | Raymond and Lissette Torsell of Rangely are this week’s “home of” honorees. Raymond moved to Rangely 37 years ago. Lissette has been here 34 years. They celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary May 10, 2012.

Black History Month at CNCC

RANGELY | To kick off February, which is Black History Month, CNCC is hosting Michigan-Based documentary filmmaker Brian Kruger and his film “Black and Blue,” the story of Gerald Ford, Willis Ward and the 1934 Michigan-Georgia Tech football game.

Christmasfest 2012

RANGELY | The Western Rio Blanco Recreation and Park District will celebrate the 2012 Christmasfest, a Grinch-themed Christmas in Rangely Friday and Saturday.

RANGELY I If this year’s Christmasfest celebrations can survive the Grinch, Rangely residents should have plenty to do the week of Dec. 10. Bertha Tolley, who has helped plan Christmasfest for several years, came up with “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas” theme.
