RHS Panthers bring home state track medals
RANGELY I The Rangely High School Panthers qualified three seniors and a junior for the 2014 Colorado State Track and Field Championships in Denver and returned home with several medals, personal bests, two new school records and a seventh-place team finish for the boys.

RBC sends 20 to state championship
RBC I Twenty Rio Blanco County track and field athletes (13 from Meeker and seven from Rangely) competed at the 2013 Colorado State Track and Field Championships at Jefferson County Stadium in Denver, and nine received medals on the podium, including one champion.

RANGELY I The Panther track team traveled to Battle Mountain on Saturday for the final meet of the regular season, returning with several top placers and personal bests, in preparation for the state qualifying regional meet Saturday at Grand Junction’s Stocker Stadium.

RANGELY I For the second year after a several-year hiatus, Yeager Field in Rangely was the site for the Panther Invitational track meet Saturday, where the boys’ home team won the meet and the girls’ team, comprised of just five girls, finished second.
RHS to host invite Saturday
RANGELY I “Even though we are dealing with injuries and illnesses, the athletes who are healthy are really stepping it up, which makes me proud,” Panthers head track coach Stephanie Kahler said of her team’s performances over the weekend in Coal Ridge and Glenwood Springs.
