Students sought for scholarships

RBC I College-bound high school seniors are encouraged to visit the Daniels Fund website at DanielsFund.org to apply online for the Daniels Scholarship Program. The application deadline is Nov. 15, 2013.

Local students earn scholarships

RBC — Matthew Herrera of Rangely High School and Hope Merritt of Meeker High School both earned a 2008 EnCana High School Scholarship for outstanding academic achievement, strong commitment to the community and determination to pursue a career in the oil and gas industry.

Pioneers Medical awards $7,000 in scholarships

MEEKER — In order to address the growing shortage of healthcare professionals, Pioneers Medical Center awarded $7,000 in scholarships to eastern Rio Blanco County residents who are pursuing degrees in healthcare. On May 17, nine individuals were awarded scholarships.

SGM announces scholarship

RBC — Schmueser Gordon Meyer, Inc. (SGM), an 85-person engineering and surveying firm headquartered in Glenwood Springs, is offering up to two $1,000 scholarships to area high school and college students interested in pursuing civil engineering or surveying degrees.
